Within the framework of the “Improving the Pedagogical-Psychological Support Service for Children with SEN” project implemented in cooperation with UNICEF Armenia, a training course on “Assistive Technologies in the Education Process of Children with Hearing Impairments” was held on March 1-2 at the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center.
Candidate of pedagogical sciences, lecturer/Chair of Special Pedagogy and Psychology Lusine Babayan was the trainer. The training course was aimed to develop TPPSCs’ specialists’ knowledge and skills while working with children with hearing impaiments.
The training course consisted of two complementary parts: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, reference was made to the assistive technologies used in the educational process of children with hearing impairments. Types, structural and usage features were presented in detail.
Furthermore, the participants had the opportunity to strengthen the acquired knowledge with practical work.
