AWARE PARENTS BUILD STRONG AND SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITIES
On April 28, 2026 an online course on “A Brief Overview of Parenting” topic was held.
The trainer of the Course was Marianna Harutyunyan, a specialist at RPPC Content Development Department.
The speaker presented different parenting styles and their impact on the formation of children’s personality and the development of their psychological processes. Emphasis was attached to the possibility of identifying the children’s strengths and focusing on these strengths to manage his development. Effective communication tools and methods, along with the importance of maintaining the children’s motivation and ways to do so, the significance of parental self-care in the children’s developmental process, the creation of support networks and systems, as well as issues related to the legal protection and safety of children were considered.
The Course was aimed at:
- ✦ providing methodological support on the child’s development and educational process;
- ✦ exchanging professional observations and practical approaches;
- ✦ increasing the effectiveness of parent-specialist cooperation;
- ✦ providing professional clarifications on existing issues.
The participants of the Course raised their concerns and received appropriate methodological advice and guidance.
