Armenian Association of Child and Educational Psychologists in cooperation with the Republican Pedagogical and Psychological Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia and the Department of Personality Psychology, YSU conducts distance learning courses. The training is carried out jointly with the UNICEF office in Armenia within the framework of the “Psychosocial Support Program for Capacity Building of Psychiatric and Social Workers in Crisis Conditions”.
TOPIC: “Child and psychosis, training for teachers and pedagogue”
From all secondary schools of the RA 2 teachers participate in the training.
Within the framework of the training program, teachers will get the following knowledge and skills:
✦ Perception of psychotrauma
✦ Psychotraumatic age responses
✦ Areas of the impact of psychotrauma in a child’s life
✦ Teachers’ reaction to a child with psychotrauma
✦ Pedagogical support to a child who has experienced psychotrauma
The critical situation disrupts the child’s vital activity and can have severe consequences for his development. It is very important to involve children in the field of education, to rehabilitate them in order to overcome their daily trauma.
