A meeting was held at the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center with UNESCO representatives Lanqgi Zhao and Roy Saurabh on October 19th. RPPC director Lilit Mnatsakanyan, Chief Specialist of the General Education Department of the RA MoESCS Anahit Muradyan, psychologists of TPPRCSs and general schools were present at this meeting.
Welcoming the attendees, RPPC director L.Mnatsakanyan referred to the necessary pedagogic-psychological support services provided by RPPC and TPPCSs to forcibly displaced children from Nagorno Karabakh, detailing what support is provided to students and beyond, what risks are there and about the mechanisms for evaluating challenges and opportunities to overcome. She also highlighted the importance of cooperation between various structures in the field of education, referred to the programs implemented jointly with partner organizations, talking about training courses aimed at strengthening the abilities of psychologists and specialists providing pedagogical-psychological support, SEN assessment, monitoring, awareness-raising activities and other processes implemented by the RPPC.
The participants of the meeting presented their work activities, referring in particular to the type of the psychological support provided by them to children forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh and their families.
