The twelfth webinar of this series of webinars was held within the framework of cooperation with the Republican Pedagogical-Psychology Center and “Perkins International” organization Perkins School for the Blind on the topic “MOTOR SKILL AS A COMPONENT OF DEVELOPMENT AND ITS RELATION WITH OTHER COMPONENTS OF DEVELOPMENT” on April 23, 2024.
The speaker of the webinar was the expert of the “Perkins International” organization Jelena Spionjak.
This webinar was about motor skills and their interrelationships with other areas of development.
So, the participants gained fundamental insights into motor skills caused by various disorders of neurodevelopment, watched a video about children with different developmental characteristics, the peculiarities, and methods of working with them, and got acquainted with the guidelines of a complex approach to early intervention./p>
Additionally, the speaker emphasized the need for a comprehensive approach and environmental adaptations in early intervention, as well as the transfer of appropriate stimuli to encourage the child’s desire to explore, move, and play.
