On April 30, 2025, the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center hosted the participants of the “Promotion of Inclusive Equitable Quality Education for all in Armenia” project of the “Armenian Caritas” Benevolent Non-Governmental Organization.
The aim of the visit was to get acquainted with the alternative therapies implemented by RPPC and the approaches, methods, and tools used.
The guests participated in the master classes conducted by specialists of RPPC Department of Pedagogical-Psychological Assistance. The master classes were aimed at presenting techniques that ensure positive movement and development through various modes of art.
One of the master classes was dance therapy, during which the guests tried to overcome physical and mental obstacles through different dance movements and techniques.
The guests also visited the clay lab, where they worked with clay and made different items, feeling the impact of the clay on their well-being, and practically facing the discovery of their own creative possibilities.
The results showed that alternative therapies are active tools that contribute to the recognition of the inner world and feelings, the discovery of opportunities, as well as to personal development and improvement of mental health.
The combination of theoretical and practical components of the master classes provided the participants with the possibility to apply their knowledge of various techniques in practice, which greatly contributed to the expansion of new skills and experience. The results showed that alternative therapies are active tools that contribute to the recognition of the inner world and feelings, the discovery of opportunities, as well as to personal development and improvement of mental health.
