On February 6, 2026, the webinar on “TRANSDISCIPLINARY APPROACH WHILE WORKING WITH CHILDREN WITH MULTIPLE DISABILITIES” was held within the framework of cooperation between the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center and “Perkins International” Perkins School for the Blind organization.
The speaker of the Webinar was Jasminka Gagula, an expert from “Perkins International” organization․
During the Webinar, the participants were introduced to the forms, principles, and features of a transdisciplinary approach to working with children with multiple developmental difficulties. The speaker also considered the effectiveness of the strategies implemented in this approach, the set goals, the advantages, and the differences.
The participants developed a general understanding of the tools and methods for collecting and sharing information related to the needs of the children, as well as effective approaches to integrating the knowledge and experience of various specialists.
The speaker attached importance to the comprehensive and holistic approach to working with children with developmental difficulties, highlighting the mechanisms of cooperation among specialists, the importance of teamwork and a unified approach, and the need to understand all components of a child’s development in order to develop a further intervention plan.
