The pedagogical internship of the students of typhlopedagogy, oligophrenopedagogy and speech therapy departments of ASPU Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education was led by the specialists of the RPPC Department of pedagogical-psychological assistance Kristine Sahakyan and Lyudmila Gareginyan.
During the internship, the students practically strengthen their theoretical knowledge about the pedagogical and psychological support, its’ forms and methods.
The individual and group trainings, which are carried out by the specialists of the RPPC Department of pedagogical-psychological assistance allowed them to gain fundamental insights on methods of providing support, form and develop professional skills in working with children SEN.
Additionally, students participated in the projects implemented at the RPPC: pottery room, dance therapy, kinesotherapy, drama therapy. So, during the training, they:
- ✦ worked with clay, discovering and demonstrating their creative skills
- ✦ got acquainted with kinesiotherapy and its modern approaches in the field of pedagogic-psychological support
- ✦ participated in dance therapy
- ✦ studied the features and possibilities of drama therapy, acting as actors of our theater, discovering their inner world anew.
The regular pedagogical internship was concluded with the expectation of a new meeting.
By the way, the organization of students’ practice in the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center is ongoing process. The Center is always ready to contribute to the acquisition and development of students’ professional competencies, abilities and skills.
