The Republican Pedagogical – Psychological Center hosted a seminar on “Theoretical Part of Reading and Writing Disorders (Dyslexia and Dysgraphia) and Ways to Overcome Them”, which was held by special pedagogue of the Department of pedagogical-psychological assistance Edgar Manukyan.
The aim of the seminar was to present the causes of reading and writing disorders and ways to overcome them.
So, the following topics were discussed during the seminar:
- ✦ reading disorders;
- ✦ writing disorders of primary school-age children and adults;
- ✦ practical and theoretical knowledge and techniques demonstrated in case of loss or partial loss of speech or reading disorders;
- ✦ the importance of the senses and analytics, as well as psychological and social factors, ways to overcome the issues;
The comments of modern researchers were also touched upon.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of cooperation, with discussions, exchange of experience, and with real case presentations.
