On February 6, 2021, RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport summed up the results of the “Best of the Years” contest, which was held on December 9, 2020.
The contest was attended by teachers and management staff of preschool and general education establishments (teachers, educators, directors).
The aim of the contest is to encourage pedagogues who have shown complete professional skills, implement creative work, Directors with modern management skills. Also, to encourage the educators who have shown methodological, practical training, skilled, creative work in the educational process for the protection of children’s life and health, their harmonious and comprehensive development, to spread their pedagogical-professional advanced experience, to promote the teacher’s authority in our society.
The winners of the “Best educational project or initiative of a general education establishment” nomination were the employees of the program “Ensuring the development of teaching skills of teachers and teacher assistant”:
✦ Melik Mkrtchyan (creation of “History of Armenian Culture” online course)
✦ Anush Hambardzumyan (“Geographers’ Research Movement”)
✦ Albine Azatyan (“The Tale Calls”)
and the list of the best in the nomination “The best educational support program of the general education establishment” completes
✦ Laura Grkikyan (“Excursions as a way to increase the efficiency of teaching History”).
