A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center and the Kanani NGO, which is aimed at expanding the full and effective participation of women and men and equal opportunities in the field of education and science on September 17, 2024.
Welcoming the cooperation, RPPC director Lilit Mnatsakanyan and “Kanani” NGO president Kristina Baghdasaryan talked about the need to develop and implement effective mechanisms together and presented the processes implemented in this direction.
So, according to the memorandum, an agreement was reached to combine efforts to reduce gender stereotypes in the educational environment under the financial support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Armenia “Socialization without discrimination. promotion of healthy emotions and equal relations” within the framework of the program.
Additionally, it is planned to jointly create and publish an illustrated guide for educators and parents, which will be aimed at forming perceptions about emotionality beyond gender stereotypes. The published guide will be used online and paper versions during seminars, training courses, consultations and other public events conducted by RPPC.
