The thirteenth webinar on “FEEDING THERAPY” topic was held on September 17, 2024, by the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center and the Perkins International Perkins School for the Blind organization.

Speaking on the importance of feeding and its vital and social significance in daily activities, the speakers explained in detail what therapeutic feeding is and how it differs from normal feeding. They also spoke about its usage, how such an intervention can improve a child’s feeding skills, what problems exist, and in what environment therapeutic feeding should be carried out.
During the webinar, various techniques, practices, and approaches that can make it possible to positively change the child’s ability to eat and drink from the point of view of efficiency and safety, and therefore also the quality of his/her life, taking into account the social context surrounding him, the interaction and communication with other people.
The participants watched a video where they got acquainted with the features of working with a child with feeding difficulties.
