The specialists of the TPPSC’s attended the seminar-training held at the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center about media science: information protection and public awareness on September 19, 2024.
Speakers were the head of the Department of Information and Public Relations and RPPC legal advisor Lilit Harutyunyan.
The agenda included key topics related to media literacy, such as information awareness and legality, social media strategies and job specifics, acquiring and improving skills in managing and promoting social pages, features of creating digital content and presenting it appropriately, maintaining mechanisms for using information, etc..
The speakers touched upon the importance of media literacy, the main goals of media content analysis, and the mechanisms of using information as an effective toolkit.
M. Soghomonyan thoroughly presented the peculiarities of working on different media platforms, improving social pages increasing protection, and transmitting information as complete and targeted as possible. Reference was also made to copyright and its protection in the digital domain and the peculiarities of media content production. Furthermore, reference was made to the use of emojis and their meaning, which was accompanied by an interesting game exercise aimed at revealing practical skills in the domain of social media.
The meeting was concluded with an active question-and-answer session in a constructive atmosphere.
