A conference on “Reforms in the field of general education” was held in Tsaghkadzor on August 17-18.
Deputy Minister of the RA MoESCS Zhanna Andreasyan, representatives of general education, development programs, and monitoring, legal, financial and budgetary departments, licensing agencies, Education Inspection Body, National Center for Educational Development and Innovations, National Center for Educational Technologies, Assessment and Testing Center, RPPC participated in the consultation.
So, a number of issues related to the change in the school management system, teachers’ professional development, certification, usage of new standards in schools, assessment, examination, and review were discussed during the consultation.
The deputy minister also referred to the new law on preschool education.
In Syunik, Lori, Tavush Regions, and in Yerevan, the total inclusive education system will be introduced in the field of preschool education in 2022.
However, according to the deputy minister, the procedure for financing preschool establishments per student is especially important, according to which children with SEN will receive preschool education with state funding.
