Speech Therapy Programs Manager of “Children of Armenia Fund” (COAF).
L.Hovhannisyan worked as a speech therapist for about 14 years in a specialized orphanage for children with SEN. Furthermore, she worked in school as well.
During her professional activity, she studied educators’ and parents’ level of awareness regarding disorders of writing process. Lia considers this work to be very important and interesting. She carried out correctional work with children with various developmental disorders. Now she coordinates the speech therapy work of development center specialists and develops methods to increase their effectiveness.

The report is about the writing disorder – dysgraphia. She will talk about what processes are affected in children with dysgraphia, and what are the types of dysgraphia. It aims to raise awareness of dysgraphia in the parenting and specialist communities.
