Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center hosted Muriel Mirak-Weissbach and her husband, Michael Weissbach on April 22, 2024.
Accompanied by RPPC director Lilit Mnatsakanyan, they toured the Center and got acquainted with the current working activities. The guests showed special interest in the alternative support services implemented at the Center, including the clay lab, which, by the way, became a reality with the financial support of the FAR.
Then, Mr. and Mrs. Weissbach enjoyed the “The Journey of the Water Lily” performance, which was also brought to life in cooperation with the Mayrak Weisbach Foundation of the Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR).
The students of “Gitak” school also came to enjoy the performance.
There was a warm and emotional atmosphere in the RPPC. At the end of the performance, RPPC director Lilit Mnatsakanyan thanked everyone, expressing her gratitude to the Fund for Armenian Relief and the Mayrak Weisbach Foundation for their support.
Furthermore, deputy country director at Fund for Armenian Relief Margarit Piliposyanalso highly appreciated the youth’s acting and the ability to deliver what they have to say with correct and purposeful accents. She noted that each viewing of the performance was distinguished by the freshness of impressions and the discovery of new emotional colors.
Mrs. Weisbach also welcomed the participants expressing special admiration for the immediacy of the young actors’ play, and the skill of mastering the performing arts. Also, she emphasized the acting skills and determination of the children to convey the message of the performance “The Journey of the Water Lily”, stressing the motto of the play, which should become a guideline in the life of every child:
