Within the framework of cooperation with the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center and Perkins School for the Blind organization, the fifteenth webinar on the “VISUAL STIMULATION AND VISION EXERCISES” topic was held on November 19, 2024.
The speakers of the Webinar were Nikolina Mihalić Kocijan and Andrea Paulik, experts from “Perkins International” organization.
The Webinar was about identifying and preventing complications of the visual system, as well as strategies and actions used in this direction. During the Webinar the speakers briefly touched upon the historical development of visual stimulation, as well as presented summary information on visual stimulation and vision exercises, their differences and features, place and time of implementation, and frequency. Afterward, the participants were introduced to practical methods and ways of applying different strategies in their work or daily lives, and developing the necessary guidelines for each child, guiding and enabling them to use their vision in their natural environment.
