The Republican Pedagogical Psychological Center held a meeting with mentors and monitors within the framework of “Ensuring the development of pedagogical skills of teachers of secondary schools and teacher assistants” program on February 27, 2024.
The director of MCC Lilit Mnatsakanyan welcomed the mentors, emphasizing their role as a link between schools and TPPSCs and the importance of increasing the effectiveness of mentoring in the process of establishing an inclusive education.
Among the priorities are the activities carried out with the prevention and response of violence, bullying, parenting, the parent community, and school staff highlighted. Also, L. Mnatsakanyan suggests various ways to increase the effectiveness of the program, which are aimed at the development of inclusive teaching skills.
Mentors presented success stories from their own experiences. They talked about the challenges that require an urgent solution. At the end of the meeting, L. Mnatsakanyan certificates the new mentors for participating in training courses and receiving “Trainer-mentor qualification” within the framework of the “Ensuring the development of pedagogical skills of teachers of secondary schools and teacher assistants” program.
The meeting took place in a warm and cooperative atmosphere.
