”DEVELOPMENT OF GROSS MOTOR SKILLS IN CHILDREN WHO ARE VISUALLY IMPAIRED” on February 28, 2024.
The speaker of the webinar was the expert of the “Perkins International” organization Jelena Špionjak.
During the webinar, the necessary prerequisites for the correct development of gross motor skills were discussed. The speaker presented the influence of the visual system on the development of gross motor skills, talked about the general development of movements, and on the main factor in the management of motor behavior, which is related to all areas of development, including sensory and mental processes.
The participants got acquainted with the mechanisms of the motor system, the methods and ways of detecting disorders as well as providing the right support, based on the principle of mutual dependence of development components.
