Within the framework of cooperation with the Republican Pedagogical- Psychological Center and UNICEF Armenia, Training of Trainers (TOT) on “Change of perception, expanding teachers’ rights and opportunities, interpersonal communication and community engagement to support inclusive education” topic took place on February 14-28, 2024.
Training of trainers (TOT) “Change of perception: Expanding teachers’ rights and opportunities. Interpersonal communication and community engagement to encourage inclusive education. About 244 specialists from 12 TPPSCs’ participated in the training courses.
The course aims to impart such knowledge and skills to the specialists, which will contribute to the development of their professional qualities, strengthening of confidence in their abilities, reevaluation of their activities, and, in general, attitudes, beliefs, and norms, supporting the inclusion of every child, regardless of his/her social status, religious, cultural, economic, geographic, ethnic origin and disability.
The training course enabled educators to develop their skills in working with children with different characteristics, becoming culturally aware professionals who apply inclusive practices, collaborate with different segments of the population, and implement interpersonal communication-based activities in their educational and social communities.

The factors were emphasized for considering educational establishments as an institutional power, emphasizing the importance of the director of the establishments in the process of implementation of inclusive education.The participants got acquainted with the strategies and approaches to effectively carry out work with people of diverse cultures in various groups.
The training courses were carried out using collaborative methods providing a constructive, positive and friendly environment and accompanied with active discussions.
