Within the framework of the “Accessible Community Social Services” CLASS program, together with the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center, two-day training courses on “The role and activities of the teacher’s assistant in working with children with hearing impairments” were held in June-July in 45 schools of all RA regions. So, nearly 900 specialists working in the field of education, social protection, and healthcare participated.
The aim of these courses was to contribute to the development of the abilities of specialists working in the field of education, enabling them to understand what violence against children is, to get an idea of the child protection system, to detect the manifestations of violence and to provide effective solutions to the issues arise.
“Accessible Community Social Services” CLASS program is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by World Vision Armenia, the Child Development Fund, the Women’s Support Center, and the ARNAP Foundation.
So, it is aimed at strengthening the social protection system in Armenia through effective social work and improving the lives of the most vulnerable children and their families.
