On November 14th, 2023 the seventh webinar on ” FUNCTIONAL VISION – WHAT IS IT?” topic was held within the framework of cooperation of the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center and “Perkins International” Perkins School for the Blind organization.
The speaker of the webinar was Snježana Seitz, an expert of the “Perkins International” organization.
During the webinar, participants gained fundamental insights about the importance of early detection of vision problems. The speaker presented the prerequisites necessary for the uninterrupted development of vision, the processes in the child’s brain in early childhood, and the cause-and-effect relationship of the manifestation of certain visual behaviors caused by these processes. She also spoke about vision indicators, as well as other difficulties that were result other vision disorders.
