Within the framework of cooperation with “Perkins International” organization, the working group consisting of representatives of the RA education sector was in Finland on a working visit on September 10-14, 2023. The aim of the visit was to get acquainted with the strategic steps, and policies implemented in the field of education and the Finnish experience of organizing and implementing inclusive education practically.
Deputy Minister of the RA MoESCS A.Svajyan, director of the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center L. Mnatsakanyan, vice-recrot ASPU M. Harutyunyan, Acting Director of “National Center for Education Development and Innovation” Foundation” A. Torosyan, representatives of the RA MoESCS, ASPU, RPPC, and TPRSCs and others.
During the visit, the working group was hosted at the Ministry of Education and Culture in Finland, where they have working discussions with State Secretary to the Minister of Education.
Within the exchange of experience framework, deputy minister of the RA MoESCS A.Svajyan introduced the processes of implementing the total inclusive education system in Armenia and the prospects of its development to our Finnish partners.
The working group members visited schools in different regions of Finland, met with heads of educational programs, directors, and pedagogical staff, and got acquainted with the main strategies of the education organization and implementation process, as well as the specifics of each school’s inclusive education organization.
That was an exclusive opportunity to study the organization and implementation of the learning process in classrooms that include children with different abilities.
