The official website of UNESCO referred to the project “Inclusion of forcibly displaced children from Nagorno-Karabakh in the educational process by increasing their psychosocial resilience” jointly implemented by the Republican Pedagogical Psychology Center and UNESCO, within the framework of which more than 600 school psychologists took part in training courses in the Republic of Armenia. Note, that this is 80% of all school psychologists in Armenia.
The training course was organized based on the module developed based on the assessment results of the needs of children forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh, teachers, and specialists working with them.
However, participation in this training course will be a new resource for school teachers and psychologists to help students acquire strategies and skills to manage their own emotions, behavior, and experience, support resilience and interpersonal skills, and develop positive emotional and mental well-being.
