Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center held a trainer’s training course on the “Prevention and response to violence against children” topic for the training specialists of the Territorial Pedagogical-Psychological Support Centers of RA marzes from 12 to 13 March.
The trainers were training specialists of the RPPC Department of Training and Methodological Support L. Hakobyan, R. Muradyan, G. Harutyunyan and O. Grigoryan.
The training course aims to increase the awareness of specialists on recognition of violence against children, RA legislative regulations, creation of a safe and protected developmental environment, response to cases of violence, and provision of appropriate psychological services.
The main directions of the training courses were the development of the abilities of the specialists in the field of education, the increase in the effectiveness of the work carried out in the direction of identifying and solving the problems in the field of violence against children, and the child protection system.
This training module was developed in cooperation with the Republican Pedagogical- Psychology Center, the US Agency for International Development, “World Vision Armenia”, and the Child Development Foundation within the framework of the “Available Community Social Services” CLASS program.
